Alexandra Cristina da Costa Teixeira who was born on 22th September of 1975, in Paredes. She graduated in sociology in 1999, in the Faculty of Letters from the University of Porto and completed a Master degree in Human Resources Management in School of Economics and Management, from the University of Minho in 2003. After a traineeship at the General of Education of the North Direction she joined the municipality of Paredes staff in 2000, having diverse paths, until taking over the coordination of the EPIS project in 2007 and the project Prevent Paredes in 2010. She was responsible for the industrial census held by the municipality of Paredes in 2003, by the realization of Deco Decor, hunting and fishing and health fairs, and for promoting local tourism by promoting the brand Route of Furniture and the creation of some products like green wine Paredes Route of Furniture and a typical cake named “lumber”. She was also linked to training, either through the municipality, participating in the organization of training either as an external trainer, particularly in the area of pedagogical training of trainers. She has been working in several European projects and she is passionate about the topics of social dialogue and economy, civic participation and strategic management.
