The internationalization of the Portuguese historiography will not become relevant because Portuguese historians appear in international arenas, but it will become if the Portuguese case becomes an object of study.
Helder Adegar Fonseca, Full Professor at the University of Évora and an integrated member of CICP, was interviewed as the former President of the Portuguese Association of Economic and Social History (APHES) for the period between 1995 and 1999. The Professor spoke about the celebration of the association’s 40th anniversary and the evolution of the Economic and Social History field and its future perspectives.
