Ph.D. student in Administrative Sciences at University of Minho – Braga, Portugal (2017-2020). Master in Administration from the Graduate School of the Universidade Regional de Blumenau (2007), graduated in Administration from the University of Southern Santa Catarina (2013), graduated in Technology in Public Administration from the University of Southern Santa Catarina (2012) and graduated in Bilingual Executive Secretariat by the Fundação Universidade Regional de Blumenau (2004). Vanessa is currently developing scientific research on the role of changing administrative burdens as well as the level of stakeholder participation (street level bureaucrats and citizens) in perceptions of willingness for a participatory policy change, researching the Brazilian social security reality. Vanessa worked as an online tutor at the School of Public Administration (ENAP) and at the INSS Training and Improvement Center (CFAI), as well as teacher at private HEIs. Vanessa is a Social Security Technician of the National Social Service Institute (INSS) and is currently with exclusive dedication to the doctorate programme in Portugal. She has teaching experience in Public and Private Administration, with emphasis on Strategic Management, Governance and Sustainability.
