Delfina Gomes is an Associate Professor with Habillitation at the Management Department of the School of Economics and Management of University of Minho. She was a visiting researcher at RMIT University (Australia) and Edinburgh Business School (Scotland). The main research focus is History of Accounting. Delfina has published in several international scientific journals, including: Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, European Accounting Review, Accounting History, and Accounting Education. She is a member of the Editorial Board of several international scientific journals, including Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal and Accounting History magazine. Delfina Gomes received the Academy of Accounting Historians Award – 2009 Margit F. Schoenfeld and Hanns Martin W. Schoenfeld Scholarship in Accounting History.
