Research Center in Political ScienceANNETTE BONGARDT
Annette Bongardt holds a PhD in Economics (1990) from the European University Institute in Florence. She is an Integrated Member of the Political Science Research Center (CICP) and an Invited Associate Professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University. She teaches ‘European Integration’ on the degree course in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at FCH/UCP and ‘Political Economy of European Integration’ on the master’s degree course in Economics at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, UCP.
He was a Visiting Senior Fellow in European Political Economy at the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2014-19. Before joining the LSE, Annette was a Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schumann Centre for Advanced Research at the European University Institute in Florence, and a Senior Member and Academic Visitor at St Antony’s College, Oxford University. Annette was also a member of the Advisory Committee of the Center for European Studies at St Antony’s College, Oxford University.
She has also taught at the University of Aveiro (Visiting Associate Professor), the University of Victoria, B.C., the University of Pisa (Visiting Erasmus Professor), King’s College London, and the National Institute of Administration (National Coordinator for Internationalization and European Affairs). Following his doctorate in 1990, he was Robert Schuman Post-Doctoral Fellow of the European Commission at CEPS in Brussels, Fellow of the International Centre for Economic Research in Turin, Assistant Professor (‘Wetenschappelijk Onderzoeker’) in Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and Professor on Leave of the European Community at Center for European Studies at UCP.
