Daniella da Silva Nogueira de Melo is currently a Ph.D .candidate in the field of political science and international relations at the University of Minho. She holds a Master in International Relations from Graduate Program in International Relations San Tiago Dantas (Unesp, Unicamp, Puc-SP), Brazil, and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. She is also a volunteer researcher in the international security group promoted by the Brazilian journal,  Relações Exteriores.
