Muhammed Can

Ph.D. Candidate of Political Science and International Relations, University of Minho

Muhammed Can is Ph.D. candidate of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Minho, Portugal. He holds a bachelor’s degree of Economics from Selçuk University, Turkey. He completed his postgraduate studies both at the Swansea University (International Relations) and King’s College London (Espionage and Surveillance Studies), the UK. Having completed postgraduate studies, he joined to an advanced training program (Terrorism Studies) at University of St. Andrews, the UK. Previously he was a visiting Ph.D. researcher at King’s College London (War Studies department) and collaborative member of the Research Centre in Political Science (CICP) at the University of Minho.

His research focuses on artificial intelligence, irregular warfare, intelligence and counterintelligence, special operations and Chinese politics.
