Maria do Céu Pinto Arena, Professor in the Department of Political Science at the School of Economics and Management at the University of Minho and Researcher at the Research Centre in Political Science (CICP), took part in SIC Notícias on 13 and 15 October 2023 as a commentator on the subject of the war between Israel and Hamas.
Regarding the current conflict, Professor Maria do Céu revealed that she is “convinced that Israel is effectively trying not to do collateral damage” and believes that Israel will move forward, despite its waiting time, “under its own conditions and according to its operational plan”.
