The Research Center in Political Science (CICP) invites all interested parties to attend the seminar “Mind the Gap: Government, Administration and Political Advisers”, to be held at 3 pm on Friday, April 16, via colibri-zoom. The event is organised under the scope of the Doctoral Program in Administrative Sciences, of the School of Economics and Management, University of Minho, and has as guest speaker Professor Patrícia Silva (Universidade de Aveiro, GOVCOPP).

About our Guest Speaker:
Patrícia Silva holds a PhD in Political Sciences. She is an assistant professor at the University of Aveiro and a researcher at the Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies Research Centre (GOVCOPP) of the University of Aveiro, where she has developed research work on political parties, the politicisation of recruitment of appointed elites, public administration, and local governance. She has been involved in several research projects and has published articles in journals including International Review of Administrative Sciences, Public Administration, European Politics and Society. She has also participated in a number of international and national competitively-funded research projects, and is currently the co-coordinator of the competitively funded “Decentralized Territorial Governance: coordination, capacity and accountability of governance arrangements in complex regional settings” research project.
